Welcome to the New VSEC websitePosted by VSEC Thousand Oaks on Tuesday, May 10, 2016
First, we’d like to say thank you for your patience while our website was in development. During the past 2 months, we’ve been working behind-the-scenes and as of last Wednesday, May 4th, our website went live. We couldn’t be more excited. Not only has it gone through a redesign on the outside, it also contains new pages and information to help you find information easier and faster on the inside.
Why did we create a new website?
VSEC remains one of the few independently owned specialty and referral practices in Ventura County. Being independently owned allows us the freedom to continually push the limits of how we can best serve pet owners and family veterinarians without a corporate edict to satisfy. At VSEC Thousand Oaks, we are continually looking for ways to innovate and evolve. Since July 1, 2014, when we acquired the practice, we have grown tremendously. New doctors, new state-of-the-art equipment, and we’re still growing! With all the changes happening within the hospital, we felt our website needed to keep up too. We believe this new version, with its fresh modern look, better reflects who we are today and where we are headed.
We’re living in an exciting, digital age.
When we were planning the new website, we had many “wants”. We wanted it to look modern, be easy to read, and intuitive to navigate. We wanted it to showcase our wonderful team members. But there were also a few “needs”. One thing that was absolutely necessary was that the website had to be responsive and mobile-friendly. A responsive website is one that adapts to the user’s mobile device. We want you to be able to find us whenever you need us with any digital device.
How are you reading this blog post? On your desktop computer? On your iPad or smartphone? Whatever device you are using to visit our website, we wanted to make sure our entire website shows up beautifully. No mini-websites here. Each web page is responsive to your device.
And as a animal emergency hospital, we know that sometimes, every second counts. While we hope you never find yourself in an emergency situation with your pet, rest assured that if you are, all of our information can be found on our website through your smartphone.
We want your feedback!
How do you like the new look? Have you browsed through our website yet? Visit our new testimonial page, or take a look around the new Pet Owner section. What topics would you like us to cover on this blog? See a broken link or something on the website that doesn’t look right? Send any and all feedback to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to hear from you!Post Tags: announcement, vsec news, vsec thousand oaks
